COVID-19 Update

Dear Valued Patient,

Given global concern regarding the Coronavirus (COVID-19), Cornerstone Health & Wellness wanted to reach out and share some of our thoughts and the extra measures and precautions our office is taking to keep our patients and employees safe.

Chiropractic services in Tarrant County has been deemed an “Essential Business”. This means that we are still open to serve our community in the best and safest way that we can.

We would like to assure everyone that during these times of uncertainty, the safety and well-being of our patients and employees is our highest priority. We believe it’s critical to do our part to help reduce the transmission of COVID-19.

Since the viral outbreak, our office has implemented an additional stringent and disciplined practice of disinfecting our exam, treatment and adjusting tables & rehab equipment between every patient, especially in the areas where your head, face, arms and hands rest. Our sign-in iPads have been removed to minimize viral/germ transmission between patients. The door handles on our entry/exit doors and bathroom door will be cleaned and disinfected throughout the day. We also have a commercial cleaning service that comes in weekly to provide an additional deep cleaning/disinfecting service to our office.

Our office is carefully monitoring the current recommendations of governmental health organizations, such as the Centers for Disease Control (CDC) and local county health organizations, and will revise the above procedures as needed.

We also wanted to address another topic. As you listen to the media, there appears to be only two things that are recommended…1) washing your hands and 2) social distancing. Although these are great practices, there is no mention of being proactive with your health and doing things that may actually help keep you and your family healthy. So, we wanted to share some additional recommendations:

  • Receive 7-9 hours of quality sleep per night (and catch a short nap during the day if you can)
  • Minimize negative stress (watch less news!)
  • Drink adequate amounts of clean, filtered water
  • Get a few minutes of natural sunshine everyday when possible (Natural Vitamin D)
  • Eat a cleaner diet, including more greens/fruits/vegetables and eliminate white sugar and flour
  • Stretch and exercise daily
  • Continue your chiropractic adjustments to help your body function at a more optimal level

As previously mentioned, our office will remain open to serve our community the best in Chiropractic, Rehab, Massage and Nutritional Support Services.

Yours in Better Health,

Dr. Steve Dotson, Dr. Jerry Day and Staff

We look forward to hearing from you
