Dr. Steve Dotson D.C.

Originally from Columbia, South Carolina, Dr. Steven Dotson, D.C., is happy to call Texas home. He proudly serves as Clinic Director and Owner of Cornerstone Health & Wellness, PLLC since March 2014. Dr. Steve earned his bachelor’s degree in biological science from Excelsior College.

He then went on to Sherman College and achieved his doctorate of chiropractic. During his time at Sherman College, he was awarded the ‘Rising Star’ in appreciation of his contributions, time and commitment to the chiropractic profession, the public and the college. Dr. Steve is also an extension faculty doctor with the Community Based Internship Program (CBI) of Parker University. He enjoys mentoring upcoming doctors of chiropractic.

Dr. Steve proudly served our country in the U.S. Army as a military police officer. During his time in the military, he received numerous army achievement awards and commendation medals.

Dr. Steven is married to his lovely wife Melanie and has two handsome sons and one beautiful daughter, Payton, Ian and Mia. He loves spending time with family and friends, playing golf, riding motorcycles, reading, and being outdoors.

Dr. Amanda Bordelon-Ross, a chiropractor at Cornerstone Health & Wellness

Amanda Bordelon-Ross BA

Originally from Roanoke, Texas, Amanda Bordelon-Ross is an Associate at Cornerstone Health & Wellness. She earned her bachelor’s degree in general studies from Harding University 2015 and her Doctorate of Chiropractic degree from Parker University in April 2025.

Amanda is currently pursuing a Master of Science in Strength and Human Performance through Parker University to further enhance her ability to help patients improve function, mobility, and overall wellness.

Her passion for chiropractic began when she was apart of the drill team in high school, where she experienced firsthand how chiropractic can help prevent injury and enhance performance. Later, working as a chiropractic assistant inspired her to pursue the profession. Seeing the demands on high school marching bands, and with her husband Connor being a band director, she launched Boots & Beats Marching Wellness, a new initiative to emphasize marching wellness and supporting Texas-based marching bands.

Outside of work, Amanda enjoys spending time with her husband, Connor, and their dachshund/boxer mix, Thor. She also enjoys reading, relaxing by the pool, singing on the praise team at her church, and being with family and friends.
